A Message from Connie

Having a background in the medical field, I have always had knowledge and passion for the science behind products I personally use. When I turned 40 this became even more important to me on many levels. It's easy to see how this relates to wrinkles and skincare, yet when I didn't like how I looked in the little black dress I wanted to wear to Las Vegas...LIPO in a BOX was born!

Started in 2000, the company now known as Connie Elder International is continuously developing and marketing products to help all women in our "QUEST TO LOOK OUR BEST!" Our focus is on foundations. Skincare, shapewear, intimates, etc. are usually not seen by others, yet these important products provide the foundation for the image of yourself presented to the world each day.

I hope you will join me and indulge yourself in the study of UNDEROLOGY -- "the science of what's underneath."

My best to you,

Golf Tournament Benefits Danita Marsh & Domestic Violence Center

On July 10, 2008 the Morning Star "Drive Away Walk Away" Golf Tournament and Twilight Walk raised over $60,000. This is the second year that Connie Elder International's brands LIPO in a BOX and UNDEROLOGY were two of the title sponsors.

$30,000 was given to Danita Marsh in honor of her service. Ms. Marsh is an officer who was shot and paralyzed while responding to a domestic abuse call while on duty with the Metro Nashville Police Department. She is a single mother of a twelve year-old son.

Over $30,000 was given to Morning Star Sanctuary that provides houses and services for victims of domestic violence.

What is the National Domestic Violence Hotline?

The National Domestic Violence Hotline (NDVH), established in 1996 as a component of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) passed by Congress, is a nonprofit organization that provides crisis intervention, information and referral to victims and perpetrators of domestic violence; as well as the friends and family members who support them.

The Hotline serves as the only domestic violence hotline in the nation that directly connects callers to more than approximately 5,000 shelters and domestic violence programs across the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Hotline answers a variety of calls and is a resource for domestic violence advocates, government officials, law enforcement agencies and the general public.

NDVH Advocates answer approximately 18,500 calls each month.

The Hotline is toll free, confidential and anonymous. NDVH operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in more than 140 different languages through interpreter services, with a TTY line available for the Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing.

NDVH staff are also available to provide assistance and guidance in a variety of areas including media, public relations, fundraising, public policy, legal advocacy and public education and training.

Why is Connie Elder involved? (Read Connie's Story of Domestic Violence)

Connie is driven to help others. Her work in the corporate arena did not afford her the opportunities to fulfill this desire. In establishing her own company, Connie has found a way to help others through her work and interact with women on a variety of levels. Two non-profit causes Connie donates proceeds from her company to support are Victims of Domestic Abuse (notably the NDVH and the YWCA Nashville) and Breast Cancer Research. Both of these causes are near and dear to her. Connie also serves on the Board of Directors for Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization helping people around the world with the gift of shoes.

For more information about the NDVH, please contact their hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or email Connie Elder at connie@connieelder.com.
